Ronaldo Souza’s journey to the light-heavyweight division maybe short lived, as “Jacare” considers moving back to middleweight for his next fight.
Souza (26-8-0-1) had an unsuccessful 205-pound debut against Jan Bu0142achowicz (25-8) at UFC Sao Paulo on Nov. 16. Unlike fellow middleweights like Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman who suffered hellacious knockout losses, “Jacare” took Blachowicz to a split decision.
“Jacare” told MMA Fighting he and his team have yet to decide on what division his next bout will take place in.
“My manager and my team are talking which weight class I’ll fight next, so there’s a lot going on here right now,” Souza said.
