Mexico's Irene Aldana will be making her UFC debut against Leslie Smith in a women's bantamweight bout at UFC on FOX 22. The news was announced by UFC Español on Thursday.
Aldana is riding a two-fight winning streak with both wins coming by first-round technical knockout. The 28-year-old Mexican fighter, who's made a name for herself for her striking and knockout power, is 7-2 as a professional fighter with a record of 4-1 in Invicta FC. Her lone loss in Invicta FC came to bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger in a title fight back in 2015.
