MMA Fighting confirmed earlier in the week (following the initial report from MMA DNA) that a light heavyweight bout between Ion Cutelaba and Devin Clark is set for a UFC Fight Night card on September 18th. A main event has yet to be announced for this card, which is expected to be in Las Vegas at the UFC APEX.
Cutelaba (15-6-1-1 NC) is in an arguable must-win spot. He recovered from a brutal start vs. Dustin Jacoby to snatch a draw, but he’s still winless in his last three after an early stoppage TKO loss to Magomed Ankalaev, followed by a no controversy KO in the rematch.
