Invicta FC 24 takes place tonight (Saturday, July 15th) at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri. The main event pits former UFC women’s bantamweight Milana Dudieva against Mara Romero Borella. Exciting atomweight prospect Jinh Yu Frey battles fellow prospect Ashley “Smashley” Cummins in the co-main event.
We did have a couple of fighters miss weight. Amy Coleman and Pam Sorenson were well over the featherweight limit for their respective bouts, so they’ve both forfeited 25% of their purses to their opponents. Also, strawweights Tiffany Masters and and Mallory Martin was pulled from the event due to “medical issues,” according to an Invicta FC press release.
