It looked like Luke Sanders had veteran contender Iuri Alcantara dead to rights at UFC 209. The veteran was wounded by punches and trapped in the corner for minutes on end, taking unanswered punch after unanswered punch.
In another world, the fight was ended right there. Sanders walked away the victor and likely doubled his purse. In this world, though, Sanders' aggression got the better of him, and he posted up and tossed a hard, blatantly illegal, knee strike to a downed opponent.
Sanders, right, was deducted a point for the illegal knee.
