Sergio Pettis is in need for a new opponent for UFC Mexico City after Alex Perez suffered an injury.
A “heartbroken” Perez announced on his social media that he won’t be able to face Pettis at the UFC Fight Night card scheduled for Sept. 21 at Mexico City’s Arena Ciudad de Mexico.
“I’m so heartbroken to announce that I have to pull out of my fight in September,” Perez wrote. “Due to an injury. This was a hard decision but can’t risk injuring myself more. I want to apologize to everyone friends family and all my sponsors!
