Even in the aftermath of UFC 200's main event fiasco, tonight's (Sat., April 23, 2016) UFC 197 pay-per-view (PPV) event is still commanding much of the mixed martial arts (MMA) spotlight.
After all, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion and pound-for-pound best fighter on the planet Jon Jones will be making his first Octagon appearance since defeating current champion Daniel Cormier back at UFC 182. Jones will be taking on up-and-coming contender and elite finisher Ovince Saint Preux in UFC 197's main event.
In addition to the interim Light Heavyweight title fight, UFC Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will defend his belt opposite undefeated Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo.
