Shinya Aoki will get back in the One Championship saddle for the first time in more than a year when he faces the unbeaten James Nakashima in the “Unbreakable” co-main event on Thursday at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.
Aoki, 37, the former One Championship lightweight titleholder, last competed under the Shooto banner in September, when he took a three-round unanimous decision from Kimihiro Eto and recorded his sixth win in seven appearances. He has not fought in One Championship since Oct. 13, 2019. Nakashima, meanwhile, enters the match with a perfect 12-0 record.
