A heavyweight clash pitting Junior dos Santos against Derrick Lewis has been targeted for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s debut in Kansas on March 9.
MMAjunkie.com was first to report the matchup. UFC Fight Night on ESPN+ 4 — or UFC Fight Night 146 — takes place at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan., and streams on ESPN+. The bout has not been officially announced by the Las Vegas-based promotion.
Dos Santos is coming off a 2-0 campaign in 2018 in which he outpointed Blagoy Ivanov in the UFC Fight Night Boise headliner on July 14 before scoring a second-round TKO stoppage of Tai Tuivasa in the main event of UFC Fight Night Adelaide.
