— UFC (@ufc) October 26, 2019Ciryl Gane was completely dominant in his second Octagon appearance, as he overwhelmed Don’Tale Mayes en route to a third-round submission at UFC Fight Night 162 in Singapore on Saturday.
Gane outlanded his opponent by a 94-to-32 count in significant strikes and went 3-for-3 on takedowns before tapping out Mayes with a heel hook at the 4:46 mark of Round 3. Despite being in control throughout, Gane, a Frenchman who is known for training with top contender Francis Ngannou, saw some room for improvement.
