Super middleweight contender Edgar Berlanga (23–1, 18 KOs) may be preparing to face Hamzah Sheerazthis Saturday in New York, but his vision goes far beyond the 168 pound division.
Edgar Balanga clearly being inspired by previous boxers in the the super middleweight division making their way all the way up to heavyweight. He wants a piece of that pie as well. He wants to move up to heavyweight and have at least two fights.
Asked how he’d like to approach moving up to heavyweight. “I don’t know, it depends. But I want to fight at heavyweight for sure because I’ve got the power and I think I’m going to be a lot stronger at heavyweight.
