Actress Halle Berry performed her own stunts during filming of the mixed martial arts-themed film ’Bruised,’ and that included shooting some scenes with UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.
Berry, who is making her directorial debut, plays the role of Jackie “Justice,” a disgraced MMA fighter toward the end of her career who is looking to reconnect with her son. At one point, filming had to be delayed after Berry sustained an injury. Berry confirmed that she broke some bones during a recent appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
