Despite being booked to fight Leon Edwards at UFC London on March 16th, Gunnar Nelson has admitted he was targeting a fight with either Jorge Masvidal or Darren Till for the card.
It’s not the first time a fight between Nelson and Till has been toyed with, as the Liverpudlian called Nelson out for a fight at UFC Liverpool in May of last year, but that never materialized.
Talking recently on the Eurobash podcast, Nelson explained how he wasn’t seeking a fight with Edwards, and had thought “Rocky” already had a fight lined up for the London card.
