Former UFC lightweight title challenger Gray Maynard says he wants to return as a featherweight in March.
It's been a rough couple of years for Gray Maynard. Since losing to Frankie Edgar in a thrilling back-and-forth lightweight title fight at UFC 136, "The Bully" hasn't looked the same since.
Maynard picked up a split decision victory over Clay Guida in 2012 but then went on to lose four straight, plunging into the depths of lightweight obscurity. Three of the losses came by way of TKO, which spurred on calls for retirement.
