Two of boxing's most destructive figures team up once again as Gennady Golovkin and Roman Gonzalez hit the HBO airwaves, taking on challengers Dominic Wade and McWilliams Arroyo at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Despite a rather low turnout for his first pay-per-view (PPV), Golovkin (34-0, 31 KO) has emerged as a legitimate star, dispatching all comers with astounding ease. Wade (18-0, 12 KO) is still in the prospect stage, but did enough for the IBF to anoint him Golovkin's mandatory challenger.
