UFC 258 continues to take shape as it has added another women’s flyweight fight to its lineup. Gillian Robertson and Miranda Maverick will be meeting each other inside of the Octagon as was first reported by the latter on her Instagram account. The announcement from Maverick was later confirmed by several media outlets, but has yet to declared official by the UFC.
Following a successful run under the Invicta FC banner between 2016 and 2020, Maverick made her promotional debut in the UFC at UFC 254 against Liana Jojua. Maverick earned a first-round technical knockout over Jojua, who sustained a significant cut on the bridge of her nose after several elbows from her opponent.
