Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brass put on the riveting UFC 186 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada last weekend (Sat., April 25, 2015) at the Bell Centre, but fight fans around the globe could tell something was missing from the event that would have made it truly special.
That, of course, was the absence of former longtime 170-pound kingpin and Canadian superstar Georges St-Pierre.
"Rush" has not graced the Octagon since his razor close victory over Johny Hendricks way back at UFC 167 in November, 2013. Citing issues with UFC's drug testing policy among his own personal issues, the champ stepped away from mixed martial arts (MMA).
