Gegard Mousasi dominated Rory MacDonald with strikes in the Bellator 206 main event.

Bellator 206’s main event concluded with Gegard Mousasi stopping Rory MacDonald with ground strikes in the second round to retain his middleweight belt. Mousasi has now won eight-straight fights and solidifies himself as one of the elite middleweight talents that planet Earth has to offer. In his post-fight interview, Mousasi expressed that Rafael Lovato Jr. deserves the next shot at his belt, and then he would like to rematch Lyoto Machida, with the caveat being proper drug testing. As for MacDonald, the welterweight champ is slated to defend his 170 pound title against Jon Fitch in the opening round of Bellator’s welterweight Grand Prix.
