UFC 216 has its first confirmed matchup, as Gavin Tucker will face Rick Glenn in a featherweight bout on Sept. 9.
Promotion officials announced the pairing on Thursday. UFC 216 takes place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the evening’s main card will air on pay-per-view.
Tucker improved to 10-0 in his Octagon debut, as he outpointed Sam Sicilia at UFC Fight Night 105 on Feb. 19. The 30-year-old Titans MMA representative has finished four of his wins by KO/TKO and four by submission.
A former World Series of Fighting featherweight champion, Glenn notched his first promotional triumph when he took a split decision over Phillipe Nover at UFC 208 on Feb.
