Gabriel Flores Jr. made waves on May 4 in his hometown of Stockton, California, when he knocked out Eduardo Pereira dos Reis in just three rounds before a packed house at Stockton Arena. The 19-year-old owns a 13-0 boxing record with six of those victories coming by way of knockout.
For his next outing on June 8, only a month and change since his last, the rising star will face Salvador "Chavita Bufon" Briceno in an eight-round lightweight bout. Flores Jr. versus Briceno will occupy the co-feature slot on a card headlined by World Boxing Organization featherweight champion Oscar Valdez against fellow undefeated boxer Jason Sanchez.
