LAS VEGAS — Gabriel “Marretinha” Bonfim delivered a brutal statement in his first UFC headliner, stopping Randy Brown with a crushing knee at 1:20 of Round 2 in the UFC Fight Night 264 main event at the APEX.
Brown immediately protested referee Mark Smith’s intervention. But replays showed his gaze glassy and distant as he crashed to the canvas enough for the quick wave-off. Up to that moment the bout had been competitive, with both welterweights finding moments before Bonfim detonated the finish.
