Anyway, ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reports that former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and ‘Chito’ are slated for a November 6th showdown at UFC 268. Contracts haven’t been signed but verbal agreements are in place.
Edgar (24-9-1) is looking to bounce back from a disastrous and brutal flying knee KO loss to Cory Sandhagen at UFC Vegas 18 in February. The 39-year-old (who will be 40 by the time November rolls around) debuted at 135 lbs last year and won a close five-round decision over Pedro Munhoz.
