Former UFC Owners Forego Salaries, Donate to Help with Coronavirus Emergency Response

Station Casinos, which are owned by Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta, will donate $1 million to Nevada’s emergency response fund to help with coronavirus relief in the state, according to a report from Las Vegas-based station KSNV.

The donation will go toward the purchase of emergency medical equipment and other protective supplies. Company CEO Frank Fertitta and vice chairman Lorenzo Fertitta will also forego their salaries during the COVID-19 pandemic. As of Monday, Nevada had nearly 2,000 reported cases of coronavirus.

The Fertittas were longtime owners of the Ultimate Fighting Championship before selling the company to Endeavor (formerly WME-IMG) for $4 billion in 2016.
