Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum was able to get himself back on the winning track, racking up two consecutive wins since his loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 213 last July. This little streak, however, was snapped once again on Saturday in London when he was knocked out in the fourth round by Alexander Volkov.
A few hours after the fight ended, Werdum issued a statement through an Instagram post.
I would like to thank everyone who cheered for me, who sent me messages of support and who are by my side in this difficult moment which is a defeat.
