Former Rizin Fighting Federation lightweight tournament winner Tofiq Musayev will seek his first Octagon triumph when he faces Samuel Sanches at UFC Fight Night 272.
The bout was initially reported by Leo Guimaraes and later confirmed by MMAjunkie.com. UFC Fight Night 272 takes place on April 4 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. A headliner has not been announced for the event.
A Difficult Debut
Musayev endured a rough promotional debut this past June, when he suffered a first-round submission loss to Myktybek Orolbai at UFC Baku in a 165-pound catchweight affair.
