Floyd Mayweather is still very interested in a boxing showdown against UFC star Conor McGregor.
The undefeated, 49-0 boxer celebrated his 40th birthday on Thursday and told Showtime’s Steve Farhood the current situation with McGregor.
Mayweather gave credit to the Irishman, praising his boxing skills and calling him a ‘hell of a fighter’.
"I'm here, let's make it happen," Mayweather said, per Peter Gilbert of Sky Sports." Every time McGregor goes out there and competes and wins, he does it standing up. When Conor McGregor did lose, he lost on the ground.
