Floyd Mayweather says he plans to return to the boxing ring to rematch Manny Pacquiao in December.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. could be coming out of retirement yet again, this time to rematch Manny Pacquiao in what Mayweather states will be another “nine-figure payday.”

The announcement from Mayweather comes as a shock, as it looked like the multiple-time world champion was finally done with his boxing career after coming out of retirement in August 2017 to defeat former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor, improving his undefeated record to 50-0.

The 41-year-old announced plans to return to the ring when he posted a video of himself and Pacquiao exchanging words at a music festival in Tokyo, Japan.
