Floyd Mayweather on ‘special’ Tenshin fight: We’re giving people something they’ve never seen

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has spoken about his bizarre decision to come out of retirement to face undefeated Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in a ‘special’ fight on December 31st, stating the two fighters are “giving people something they have never seen before.”

News broke yesterday that Mayweather would be fighting Nasukawa at Rizin FF 14, on New Year’s Eve at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. A rule-set for the fight as, well as the weight class, has not yet been determined. Speaking at a press conference in Tokyo next to Rizin officials, Mayweather was full of praise for the 20-year-old Nasukawa.
