Boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. (pictured) and UFC superstar Ronda Rousey will never fight for real, so let’s just stop with that nonsense. However, verbal sparring through the media is fair game.
Last month when Rousey topped Mayweather to win “Fighter of the Year” honors at ESPN’s ESPY awards, she took a dig at Mayweather for claiming he didn’t know who “he” was when reporters previously asked if he could be Rousey in a fight.
“I can’t help but really say that, I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” Rousey said. “I’d like to see you pretend to not know who I am now.
