UFC Shanghai will have a couple of intriguing fights at the top of the bill.
The evening’s headliner will see Mingyang Zhang square off against Johnny Walker at light heavyweight, while Brian Ortega will face Aljamain Sterling in the featherweight co-main event. UFC CEO Dana White announced the pairings on Wednesday night.
UFC Shanghai — also known as UFC Fight Night 257 — takes place on Aug. 23 at Mercedes-Benz Arena in China. A heavyweight showdown pitting Sergei Pavlovich against Waldo Cortes-Acosta is also scheduled for the card.
