Ex-UFC Brazil head explains gripes with promotion leading to his departure

The former UFC Brazil general manager says he departed partly due to some issues with how the promotion dealt with Brazilian fighters.

Giovani Decker wrote in an Instagram post Friday that he stepped down from his post as the UFC's Brazil vice president and GM partly due to recent decisions made regarding Brazilian fighters and title shots. He also cited a lack of autonomy as one of his reasons for leaving.

Decker went on in the post to thank UFC officials and fighters and to say that it was a good experience to work for the promotion.
