Errol Spence Jr is fortunate to have avoided serious injuries after last week’s single-car crash, but he won’t escape criminal charges.
The unified WBC/IBF welterweight champion is now out of the hospital after he flipped his Ferrari multiple times over in a scary crash in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. While he was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit, Spence ultimately didn’t suffer any broken bones and is expected to make a full recovery.
As for how the crash occurred, it appears that Spence was traveling at a high rate of speed and was intoxicated at the time.
