Highly touted prospect Erin Blanchfield has a new date for her octagon debut.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Blanchfield will face Sarah Alpar at UFC 266 in a flyweight matchup. The event takes place Sept. 4 at a location and venue yet to be announced. MMA Junkie was first to report the booking.
Blanchfield makes her first UFC walk on a three-fight winning streak. “Cole Blooded” is 6-1 as a pro with her lone loss coming via split decision to Tracy Cortez at Invicta FC 34 in February 2019.
