Eddie Alvarez gives edge to Khabib over McGregor, questions Conor’s ‘spirit’

If Conor McGregor plays his cards right, he could return to the Octagon to face Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC lightweight in the coming months.

McGregor, who was stripped of the 155-pound belt due to inactivity, is due in court on June 14 on charges of assault and criminal mischief after he chucked a dolly threw the window of a fighter’s bus and injured several people on-board, including UFC fighters Michael Chisea and Ray Borg.

Yet, despite his antics, the MMA world is more hyped than ever over a potential title bout with Khabib, which promises to be one of the biggest — if not the biggest — fights in UFC history.
