MMAjunkie.com confirmed the booking on Sunday following an initial report from ESPN.com. Brown was pulled from the card for unspecified reasons, clearing the way for Grant to step in on 6 days’ notice.
UFC Fight Night 143 – also known as UFC on ESPN+ 1 – takes place at the Barclays Center and is headlined by a flyweight championship bout between Henry Cejudo and reigning bantamweight king T.J. Dillashaw.
