Ahead of his retirement outing this summer, former interim lightweight champion, Dustin Poirier has offered home town hero, Lil’ Wayne the chance to walk him out for his final Octagon appearance at UFC 318 — as he prepares to challenge Max Holloway for the symbolic BMF crown.
Poirier, a fan-favorite hailing from Lafayette, is set to make his final combat sports walk this summer, headlining UFC 318 in a homecoming at the Smoothie King Center — poised to fight Hawaiian star, Holloway for the third time in their respective careers.

And drawing the curtain on a decorated tenure in the Octagon, the Lafayette striker has been sidelined since he suffered a fifth round D’Arce choke submission loss to Islam Makhachev in an undisputed title charge back in June of last year at UFC 302.
