The apparent 12-to-6 elbow wasn’t the only foul Eddie Alvarez committed at UFC on FOX 30, according to opponent Dustin Poirier.
“The Diamond” said at the event’s post-fight press conference on Saturday night that Alvarez stuck his finger into Poirier’s ear during their rematch, which headlined the promotion’s long-awaited return to Calgary, Alberta.
“The weird thing is, when I had him in the guillotine, he stuck his finger in my ear and was pulling me down and the ref warned him,” Poirier said (transcript via MMAFighting.com). ”And he put his finger right back in my ear.
