The Nevada Athletic Commission is power tripping. Thanks to new measures Nick Diaz now is facing a two year ban plus a 75% loss of fight purse. The NAC does not believe in casual Friday, only strict measures to end your work week.
During a routine monthly meeting the NAC proposed then quickly passed a laundry list of stiff and much harsher penalties for combat athletes competing in their state. Now a failed drug test results in an automatic loss in Nevada. Without consulting the promotions or fighters that fight in their state, the NAC bypassed everyone and is now regulated by a ridiculous set of new drug testing rules.
