Dricus Du Plessis out of UFC Vegas 22, Roman Dolidze steps in to fight Trevin Giles

Trevin Giles has a new opponent on March 20.

Multiple people with knowledge of the rebooking told MMA Fighting that Giles (13-2) will now fight Roman Dolidze (8-0) in a middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 22 following the withdrawal of initially Giles’ scheduled opponent, Dricus Du Plessis. The news was first reported by Sherdog.

Du Plessis, a former KSW middleweight champion who hails from South Africa, was removed from the booking due to visa issues.

Giles is currently on a two-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Bevon Lewis by first-round TKO in November.
