For much of the post-SEG era of the UFC Robert Follis has been one of the premiere coaches in MMA. Originally a founding member of Team Quest, he was one of the principal figures behind the legendary career of multiple-time UFC champion Randy Couture. He was trainer to Dan Henderson and Evan Tanner, among others in the classic Team Quest stable.

In the last half-decade, he became head coach at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, where he helped lead Miesha Tate to a UFC title and Kevin Lee to a shot at the interim lightweight belt.
