If you follow boxing at all, you know that Oscar De La Hoya says some outlandish things. In fact, the head of Golden Boy Promotions will say just about anything to get you to watch a fight he has on. So it should come as no surprise at all that he believes UFC champion Conor McGregor should fight his guy, not Floyd Mayweather. And in an interview with FightHub, he showed no shame in trying to court the UFC’s biggest draw when asked about Conor’s boxing license in California:
"If Conor is serious about fighting - first of all, would love to talk to him, and promote him.
