Daniel Marcos climbed back into the win column at UFC Vegas 111, scoring a slick submission victory over Miles Johns.
After trading leg kicks early on, things went to the mat with Marcos momentarily taking Johns’ back. Before long, Johns worked his way up and went fishing for a single-leg takedown. Marcos defended and separated, prompting a fiery exchange of fists before Johns opted to clinch up once again.
Marcos got the better of the exchange, likely putting him up 1-0 going into the second stanza.
Marcos continued to control the action in round two.
