Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones II Headlines UFC 197, Johnson vs. Cejudo Co-Main Event

UFC president Dana White hinted last week that the highly-anticipated rematch between light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (pictured) and former champ Jon Jones would likely go down in April. On Saturday, it was officially announced the sequel will take place at UFC 197 on April 23.

MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the site of their original tango, hosts the gig.

As if that title tilt wasn’t enough, reigning flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson defends his crown against Henry Cejudo in the show’s co-main attraction.

Jones solidified his spot as the most decorated light heavyweight champion in UFC history after annihilating Cormier last January to notch is eighth consecutive title defense.
