Good news is finally on the horizon for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion.
Daniel Cormier (18-1) has seen better days after an MRI revealed a torn adductor tendon in his right leg last week, which forced him to withdrawal from his main event slot at UFC 206 for his highly anticipated rematch against Anthony Johnson (22-5). This was his second attempt at defending his title for the second time, after Jon Jones was removed from UFC 200 due to testing positive for banned substances.
“DC” just can’t seem to catch a break.
