Daniel Cormier may be embarking on a new career with the WWE, as the retired UFC heavyweight revealed in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated that he is in ‘very early conversations’ with the premiere professional wrestling league over a commentary gig.
Cormier currently serves as a commentator for the UFC but the former two-division champion and lifelong professional wrestling fan said it has always been his dream to work for the WWE.
“We’ve been talking,” Cormier said. “We’ve spoken to some of the people over there in very, very early conversations. WWE is a company I’ve watched and loved my entire life.
