UFC president Dana White on Wednesday sent a heartfelt message of support to Khabib Nurmagomedov and his family following reports that the UFC lightweight champ’s father fell into a coma in Russia this week.
While the Nurmagomedov family has issued no statement of confirmation, and multiple requests for comment to the fighter and his reps have gone unanswered, reports recently surfaced that Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov had been hospitalized with suspected pneumonia.
Now, a state-run Russian media outlet is saying the 57-year-old Nurmagomedov is in critical condition after being airlifted to a Moscow hospital.
