Khabib Nurmagomedov famously enjoys verbally taunting his opponents during a fight and it turns out his win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 was no different.
In the past, the UFC lightweight champion has been heard telling opponents “you need to give up” while hammering away with punches. During his highly anticipated showdown with Conor McGregor in 2018, Nurmagomedov was on top of the Irish superstar saying “we’re talking now … let’s talk now” while simultaneously blasting him with strikes.
According to UFC president Dana White, Nurmagomedov was actually doing the same exact thing to Gaethje during their fight but no one actually heard the contents of that conversation until now.
