Dana White on San Antonio shooter’s UFC fighter claim: ‘I hope it’s not true’

Police are still searching for a shooter who identified himself as a UFC fighter before opening fire outside a bar in San Antonio after he was denied entry on Friday night.

According to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, the shooter was turned away because he was too inebriated, and that’s when the person told security staff at the door, “Don’t you know who I am? I’m a UFC fighter from California.”

The suspect then returned to his vehicle, took out a “long rifle” and began shooting, ultimately wounding eight people. There were no fatalities.
