Dana White is finally warming to the idea of a possible superfight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Georges St-Pierre.
First, though, the UFC president would like to see Nurmagomedov defend his lightweight title against former interim champ Tony Ferguson, who is teased to challenge ‘The Eagle’ in the new year.
After that, White says Khabib vs. St-Pierre could be a ‘fun fight to make’.
“Tony fight has to happen first,” White said on Instagram Live, via MMA Fighting’s Jed Meshew. “Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib and obviously if Khabib wins that fight, the GSP fight would be a fun fight to make for sure.
