Cris Cyborg's contract situation in the UFC is still complicated, but UFC president Dana White is confident that she will eventually return to action against Holly Holm.
Cyborg fought the last bout of his deal in July, when she stopped Tonya Evinger in the third round at UFC 214 to capture the vacant featherweight title, and campaigned for a bout with former bantamweight champion Holm at UFC 219 on Dec. 30.
The Brazilian posted on her Twitter last week that she had canceled her upcoming meeting with the promotion because “they want to pay me less to fight Holly Holm than I made to fight Tonya Evinger.
